Abstract:
According to the reaction principle of barium hydroxide octahydrate dehydration to produce barium hydroxide monohydrate, the preparation process of barium hydroxide octahydrate was studied by vacuum heating dehydration process. The suitable technological conditions were found out through experiments. The process equipment, simple operation, conditions easy to control, especially to prevent product carbonation has more unique advantages.

| production method | dehydration method barium hydroxide octahydrate prepared from barium-containing raw materials (barite or arsenite) is dehydrated under vacuum heating conditions with a vacuum degree of 73.3-93.3kPa and a temperature of 70-90 ℃ for a dehydration time of 60-90mim to obtain barium hydroxide monohydrate. The recrystallization method uses toxic heavy stone as raw material and mixes it with pulverized coal, and is calcined at a high temperature above 1350 ℃. The calcined clinker is placed in an extraction tank, and is soaked with water under stirring at 80~90 ℃. After 30 mim is leached, a small amount of zinc oxide is added for desulfurization, and then the proposed liquid is filtered, evaporated, concentrated, and cooled to normal temperature. The obtained barium hydroxide octahydrate is crystallized and separated to obtain granular barium hydroxide monohydrate. |
